Hope you all are enjoying the cricket going around various parts of the globe. There are less times when there are multiple bilateral series are being played. Since now its less than 1 and half year left for the ICC world cup 2015 to start, most of the teams want to settle into a nice combination thus series are being planned and played accordingly. Currently there are lots of Test and ODI series being played like:

  • India Vs Australia ODI series: Aussie team is on the tour of India to play one T20 mach and 6 one day international cricket matches. Australian team lost the only T20 match despite scoring a 200 plus score in 20 over. But they make a great comeback in ODI and won the first match and now lead the ODI series 1-0. The second match of the series will be played tomorrow at  Jaipur. Match starts from 1:30 pm IST and you can watch the live scoreboards of the match in the live scoreboard at this blog
  •  Pakistan Vs South Africa: The both teams are playing the series at Abu Dhabi, the neutral venue. Both team will play 2 test matches, 5 ODI matches and 2 twenty twenty matches. The first test between the two team is already being played and today is the second day of play for the match.
  • Bangladesh v New Zealand: New Zealand team tour of Bangladesh. NZ to play 2 tests, 3 ODI and 1 T20 match. The first test match between both the team ended in a draw. For the remaining matched and live scoreboards, stay tuned at this blog. Second test starts from 29th October. 
This was news about cricket series, now lets share some more news from the cricketing world that we feel are important to share with all the cricket fans:

  • ICC to start test championship where top 4 ranked test playing nations will compete against each other for the title. 
  • Sachin Tendulkar of India announced retirement from test matches (Already retired from ODI and T20s). He will play his last test match at his home ground in Mumbai. 
  • Tillakaratne Dilshan of Sri Lanka announced retirement from test matches to make way for youngsters. Dilshan will however continue to play ODI and if he is fit and in form he might represent his country in the  ICC 2015 world cup. 
  •  Cheteshwar Pujara of India achieved the feat of scoring  three first-class triple-centuries. He is the second Indian to do so after Ravinder Jadeja and ninth overall in the world. 
  • Yuvraj Singh of India made a comeback to professional cricket and is playing in the current series against Australia.
