In the first match of the Super Eights in ICC Twenty 20 world cup, host Sri Lanka will face New Zealand. As the group stages matches are over now all the remainng matches are knockout matches i.e the 4 winners from the Super Eights will qualify for the semi finals and then the 2 winners from semi finals will play the final to decide the New T20 world champions.
Both Sri Lanka and New Zealand team have average performance in the T20 world cup 2012 so far. Both teams have won one group stage match and lost one as well. However given that ew Zealand team is little inconveninet against the spin bowlers Sri Lankan team might have a upper edge but at the same time one must not forget that Sri Lankan pitches are not dead for fast bowlers as in the past. Thus New Zealand fast bowler might provide the team a start needed for winning the match.
