ICC World T20 World Cup Live Match Score Today

Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka lead the team in a virtual quarter final match against New Zealand and once again Malinga is given the chance to lead the team in the semi-final match against West Indies today. Both the teams previously met in the final of last T20 world cup in the year 2012 and Sri Lanks lost that match to the West Indies team. This is a perfect time when the Sri Lankan team could take the revenge and feature in back to back finals of the T20 world cup. West Indies team on the other hand is getting stronger in this format of the game.

The Biggest challenge for Malinga is to keep the explosive batsmen from the West Indies, which is quiet a difficult task. The winning team from today's match will face the winners from the second final match (India Vs South Africa, to be played tomorrow) on Sunday, 6 April.

There are still few hours left for the match to start but there already lot of excitement for the match. You can enjoy the live match on TV on in case you are traveling or don't have access to video stream of the match you can simply enjoy the live scoreboard being shown above.

Hope you enjoy the T20 thriller today.

India bat first in second T20 Match

Pakistan cricket team won an important toss today and asked Indian cricket team to bat first. I think the Pakistan skipper made an important decision as it'd be tough to bowl later in the night as dew can play an important role that time.

Indian team though had made a slow but steady start for their innings and so far they have scored more than 59 runs in 8 overs losing two wickets of G. Gambhir and A. Rahane. Both the batsmen were tricked by the deliveries of opposition teams fast bowler Umar Gul in two successive overs.

Currently T20 specialist Yuvraj Singh and  Virak Kohli are batting and if they continue to play til lthe 15th over I am sure India would be in a position to score a competitive total as they have more T20 specialist batsmen like Rain and Dhoni to follow.

However if Pakistan can get one or two quick wickets at this stage then they might trigger the collapse of famous Indian batting line as they did in the last match.

Good luck to both the teams, be logged in for more updates from the match and live score updates.

India Vs Pakistan T20 Match Today Live Score

First of all a very Merry Christmas to all the cricket fans across the world. For the last 48 hours topic of discussion among cricket fan was retirement of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar however from now onward it'll be the most exciting match in world. Yes I am talking about T20 between India and Pakistan that will be played from 7 pm on wards at Bangalore.

Today's T20 match will be followed by one T20 match and a 3 match ODI series. So lets be ready to watch cricket stadiums packed to their full capacity for all these matches. Such is the intensity of matches between two teams that no matter if its a bilateral series, tri series or major international cricket series being played in India, Pakistan or any other part of the world you'll see fully crowded cricket grounds. Pakistan team visited India last time during the 2011 world cup and both teams played against each other in the wold cup semi-final which India won.

Now lets discuss about the match to be played today, I think given the performance of the Indian cricket team Pakistan team looks little more capable of winning the T20 match today and the T20 series. Pakistan team have some very good T20 players and they have quality batting and bowling attack. If we take the performance of both the teams in recent T20 matches, both the teams have won 3 and lost 2 in the last 5 T20 matches they have played.

Indian bowling be it fast or spin is lacking the experience and the kill they have in the past. If we take a look at the bowling of the T20 series against England then Yuvraj Singh is the only successful bowler from Indian side. Batting for India is still solid as ever Raina, Kohli and Dhoni are in the T20 form and hopefully they can win the match for India. Lets wait and watch the live match from 7 pm on-wards today. My best wishes for both the teams.

Once again a Merry Christmas to all the cricket fans.

India Vs England T20 Match Today

There are two T20 matches left for team India to end the disaster Series against England on a positive note. India have lost 4 test match series badly by 2-1 and now they have two twenty twenty matches left to give their fans something to cheer about. England team however would like to prove that they are good in the shorter versions of the cricket as well. England cricket team is already on a high,  winning a  test series India after a gap of 28 years.

The first T20 match between the two teams will be played today at Pune. Match will begin at 7 p.m. Indian time. Indian team might sound strong in the T20 format as hey have lots of young guns with great exposure to T20 format. Also the fact that only two England players ahve played in IPL so far will de helpful for team India.

However one must not forget that a great performance in India is the VISA to play the most lucrative domestic T20 tournament in the world known as IPL. For the visiting team players its a chance to get call from some of the IPL franchisee. So Indian team will once again may have to work hard to win the T20 tournament.

We are still not clear about the playing XI for both the teams, so you all are requested to catch all the live action of T20 match today from 7 pm onwards.

Pakistan Take South Africa in a Must win match

Pakistan Take South Africa in a Must win match today. Instead this is a must win match for both the team because a victory here would make life little bit easier for the reaming Super Eight matches for both the team as both team will play against strong India and Australia later.

One thing everybody would love about the super eight matches in ICC Twenty Twenty world cup is that the super eights had made the tournament go live wire. Two matches were played yesterday and we saw T20 cricket magic at its peak. Match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand was decided by a super over and Sri Lanka emerged as the winners here.  Second match between West Indies and England was also a close encounter. Though England has lost the match, the way England batsmen chased the score this might have given some tension to the management of Sri Lanka and New Zealand teams.

Let focus on the first match to be played between South Africa and Pakistan. I believe this will be the first tough match for the strong Pakistan team, that have a easy going in T20 world cup so far. Given that they have Australia and India to face later, Pakistan team might need to win this match at any cost. So far the batting of Pakistan team has been consistent and openers have given quick starts to the team, however this time they will face the likes of Dale Steyn and Morkel who are very lethal with the ball in T20 format.

Match is about to begin soon and you all can tune in to your TV sets for pre-match discussions or stay tune at this blog for live scoreboard.

Please note that another interesting match is to follow after this match where India and Australia will be face to face in another close T20 encounter.

Super Eights Match Live Score - Sri Lanka v New Zealand

In the first match of the Super Eights in ICC Twenty 20 world cup, host Sri Lanka will face New Zealand. As the group stages matches are over now all the remainng matches are knockout matches i.e the 4 winners from the Super Eights will qualify for the semi finals and then the 2 winners from semi finals will play the final to decide the New T20 world champions.

Both Sri Lanka and New Zealand team have average performance in the T20 world cup 2012 so far. Both teams have won one group stage match and lost one as well. However given that ew Zealand team is little inconveninet against the spin bowlers Sri Lankan team might have a upper edge but at the same time one must not forget that Sri Lankan pitches are not dead for fast bowlers as in the past. Thus New Zealand fast bowler might provide the team a start needed for winning the match.

Match will be played tomorrow, 27-Sept at 15:30 local  (+5:30) at Pallekele stadium Sri Lanka. I hope the weather will not play any spoil sport and we'll see full and entertaining match tomorrow.  Please note that this is not the only match to be played in Super Eights tomorrow, England & West Indies will be face to face in another exciting knock out match that will start after the match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Match will be played at the same ground and you can easily catch all thelive action at our blog.
