India Vs England T20 Match Today

There are two T20 matches left for team India to end the disaster Series against England on a positive note. India have lost 4 test match series badly by 2-1 and now they have two twenty twenty matches left to give their fans something to cheer about. England team however would like to prove that they are good in the shorter versions of the cricket as well. England cricket team is already on a high,  winning a  test series India after a gap of 28 years.

The first T20 match between the two teams will be played today at Pune. Match will begin at 7 p.m. Indian time. Indian team might sound strong in the T20 format as hey have lots of young guns with great exposure to T20 format. Also the fact that only two England players ahve played in IPL so far will de helpful for team India.

South Africa is out of the ICC Twenty 20 world cup tournament and they only can play now to leave the tournament with a victory. Only then Indian cricket team will have net run rate greater than that of Pakistan.

Asia Cup opening Match India vs Sri Lanka

Both teams played a couple of matches against each other few days back in the foreign land and pitches that they are not comfortable playing. Now they will play against each other in home like conditions in the opening match of the Asia cup 2012. Asia cup features Pakistan and Bangladesh and two other teams and is hosted by Bangladesh. Though Indian cricket team is the defending champion of the Asia cup, teams performance post the world cup has been on a decline and it'd be interesting to see if Indians can prove again why they are world champions.

Indian team has recalled couple of big hitters like Yusuf Pathan in the team and also since Bangladesh pitches are like heaven for Batsmen so called great bating line up of India can post and chase some good scores. New Zealand lost 2 quick wickets at the start of the innings but Martkin Guptil and Ross Taylor batted well to build the innings for Neww Zealand. Once Marting Guptil was bowlede by Shahid Afridi delivery, other wicket also fell quickly. Now New Zealand can make a strong comeback in the match only be batting well in the last 15 overs and if they can manage to score somewhere around 280 it won't be easy for Pakistan to chase the score.

For Pakistan it would be ideal if they can pick some quick wickets and manage to restric New Zealand under 250 otherwise it wont be easy for them to chase.

Bopara - Trott partnership builds innings after 3 early wickets

Winning the toss was the only good thing that happened to England for the first 10 overs of the game. England won the toss and elected to bat first, but they have a horrble start to the innings and lost 3 quick wickets. Ravi Bopara and Joanthan Trott now building the innings and a good partnership is going among them. Lets hope they build a health partnership that can enable England to post a competitive target for in-form South African team.
