India Australia Sri Lanka Tri Series Match 2

India will play the second match of the tri-series against Sri Lanka tomorrow at Perth. Indian cricket team lost the first match to the hosts Australia by some 60 odd runs. Indian team will be facing Sri Lanka first time after they played each other in the world cup 2010 final, which India won. However Indian team has been on a depletion road after the world cup victory and same is the story with Sri Lankan cricket team as well. Now let’s see which of the two struggling world cup finalists will the match tomorrow.


One another important fact I’d like to mention is that since the world cup Virendar Sehwag and M.S. Dhoni have never featured together in an one day international match. This is something strange and interesting as well; let us see if Sehwag will play in tomorrow’s match against Sri Lanka and if the captain of the team will also play.

Both the teams need to take this series seriously and a chance for the youngsters to experience the nature of play in Australia as it’s the co-host along with New Zealand for the next world cup. I wish I’ll get a chance to see both the countries in the Finals of ICC world cup 2015 also.

In Group A situation is clear about which team will qualify for the quarter finals. However in group B situation is totally different, there only one team has qualified for the quarter finals and remaining three will be decided in the do or die matches to come. In group B one of the team from India, Bangladesh, Wes Indies and England will be out of the tournament. Thus it is important for all the four teams to win the respective matches.

Let the case of match today between West Indies and England if West Indies wins the match then it will be good bye time for England. Thus England needs to win the match to remain in the tournament. If West Indies lose the today’s match then they still have the chance to make it to the next round by winning the next and the last match they have against India.
