Aisa Cup 2014 Cricket Matches in Bangladesh

Asia cup which features cricket teams from Asia compete against each other to win the title. In the past the series included India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka only with Bangladesh joining the Asian squar in some recent years. This time another shining team Afghanistan will participate in this tournament for the first time.

This could a great learning for the inexperienced Afghanistan team participating with 4 test playing nations that include three past ICC cricket world cup winner. Since Afghanistan team is also qualified for the ICC world T20 and the 2015 ICC world cup, so this could be a great exposure to the team.

Asia Cup 2014 Opening Match Results: 
The opening match was played between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, which was a close encounter won by Sri Lanka due to some magic reverse swing bowling from Lasith Malinga. He took 5 wickets in his last spell taking the match away from the Pakistan.

Asia Cup Match Today: 
Today match in Asian cup is between Bangladesh and India. Both the teams look great in the sub-Continent playing conditions. IPL 2014 Auctions & Players costs

Auctions for the IPL 2014 will be held in Bangalore on the 12th and 13th of this month and some lucky champs might have the best Valentines Day to celebrate with their love on the next day when IPL auctions are over.  Originally there were 895 players (consisting on both capped and uncapped players from across the globe) available for the auctions, the list was trimmed down to 514 players by the IPL governing body. Among the 514 players that will go to the auctions now include 219 capped players and 295 uncapped players.

Unlike the previous IPL auctions, this time the currency for the auctions would be INR (Indian Rupee). Also this would the first time that uncapped players are considered for the auctions and its more likely that the capped players would be auctioned on day one and uncapped on day two.
