Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Pune Warriors IPL Match Today Score

Sunrisers Hyderabad will play against Pune Warriors in the IPL match today. The Sunrisers team was known as Deccan Chargers previously. There might not be much excitement for today's IPL match as both the team have a poor IPL season last year and interesting both the team were in the end of IPL points table last year.

If the Hyderabad team has a new name then the Pune team has got a new captain in the form of Angelo Mathews from Sri Lanka. This is the third match of IPL 2013 season six and here also there a a couple of players to miss the games due to injuries. Pune have lost the captain Michales Clark as he so gonna miss the the IPL games this season whereas the Sunrisers Hyderabad will be missing the in form Sikhar Dhawan.

Yesterdays IPL match between Mumbai and Bangalore was exciting match which Bangalore team won eventually. Ponting and Sachin opened the batting for the Mumbai team and  it was great to see to batting great playing together. Hopefully they'd be able to provide more good opening scores for the Mumbai team. They badly need Malinga  back in squad to stop the scores. The RCB team on the other hand is one man army relying heavily on the heavy weight Chris Gayle.

Good luck to both the team, at least not to finish IPL in bottom  of points table this time.

IPL opening Match - KKR vs Daredevils

IPL is back in action already from the yesterdays opening ceremony. I hope you all enjoyed the opening ceremony. Now today we'll see IPL matches begin officially from 8 pm Indian time. Its just a matter of 5 hours approx.

The first match will be played between the defending champions KKR and the Delhi Daredevils team. For KKR is has been up and down journey before they  win the title last edition of the IPL. However the Delhi team has been consistent making it to playoffs and higher stages of the IPL. For the Delhi Daredevils team its tough time they have already two top players not playing for them this season due to injuries. Kevin Peterson and J. Ryder both will not be able to play this season for the Delhi team. To make it worse The star opener Virender Sehwag will not play the opening match of the tournament.  The New captain Mahela Jayawardene would surely have to get best of the limited option he is left with the team.

Same is the case for the Knight Riders team. Brendon McCullum has notjoined the team yet, Pattison has opted out to prepare for Ashes. Jacques Kallis and the captain Gautam Gambhir just recovered from injuri and illness. However the KKR team do have the confidence on being the defending champions and the team looks stronger than the Delhi team on paper at least.

But this is IPL and be prepared to watch many setbacks.

Score Updates IPL Matches Today

Two matches will be played in IPL today i.e.:

1. Deccan Chargers vs Delhi Daredevils
2. Rajashtan Royals Vs Chennai Super Kings

First match between Deccan Chargers and Delhi daredevils is not of much importance and results of the match will hardly have any impact on the  points table or be decisive on which IPL team will qualify for the IPL 2012 play offs. Delhi is already certain of qualifying for the play offs and a win today will regain them the number one position in points table. Deccan on the other hand are out of the scope to qualify for the next round of the tournament and they only need to win hearts of the fans by winning the remaining matches in the tournament. Deccan surely will not want to end the IPL 2012 by remaining at the end of points table.

Now if we take at the position of both the team playing in the second IPL match today. for both the teams its a must win match. Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals both have played 12 games so far and have earned 11 and 12 points respectively. Any of the team who wins the match will go to the number 4 position in points table. Thus the team winning today's match will make its way easier for reaming matches and qualifying for the IPL play offs.

Yesterday Mumbai Indians lost the match to Royal Challengers Bangalore and they now need to win at least 2 of the remaining 4 matches to qualify for the play offs. Royal Challengers Bangalore team is now looking more lethal and hopefully the team will qualify for the next round easily.

Kings XI Punjab vs Kolkata Knight Riders Match Today

At home ground Kolkata failed to chase a low score of 132 against Kings XI Punjab team. Today they face the same team but at different location. Today's match IPL match between Punjab and Kolkata will be played at PCS stadium, Mohali.

Both the teams have 4 points so far in the IPL, thus a win is much needed so that the team can get the hopes of qualifying to the next round easily without having the extra pressure in the last matches of the IPL. Kings XI however will be more beneficial from a match win here as they have played one match (4) less as compared to Knight Riders (5).

Another interesting IPL T20 match will be played tomorrow between Delhi Daredevils and Deccan Chargers. A win in the tomorrows match will be a strong indication that Delhi is going to play the Final of IPL T20 season 2012. And a loss for Deccan chargers means they might be out of the IPL contest and can only play for the pride and cause trouble to other teams for qualification to next round.
