21-April-2015: Kings XI Punjab vs Rajasthan Royals at Ahemdabad Today. Might be a change in ground could bring a change in fortune for Kings XI team.  A win a what Punjab team needs badly at this moment. However they are facing a team today, which is still undefeated in IPL 2015.  Rajasthan Royals are just playing very good T20 cricket at the moment and they have got all the thing at right place. Punjab on the other hand despite being  filled with talented and big name players and still to get the combination right.They are experimenting too much and I guess they should just keep the things simple and play batsmen in a role that suits them better.

20-April-2015: Today KKR will play against Delhi Daredevils. The DD team has got the momentum they have been missing so  far in IPL. They are now at 4 position in points table and a win today will ensure they will replace KKR team who is at number 3 positions. And if they win the match today with a better run rate the Delhi team might also replace CSK who is at number 2 in points table.

Today match is between the tournaments favorites Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils. The Punjab team has a very good performance last year and prior to that the Punjab team performance in IPL was almost similar to the opponents today. The Delhi Daredevils team has not got a good season in the history of IPL. This year the team has invested heavily and purchased Yuvraj Singh at a huge amount. Now its for Delhi team players to show that performance. The match begins at 8 pm at Pune and its most likely that Delhi is goind to loose this match. Lest wait and watch. Good luck to all.

IPL Matches today

Today only one match is scheduled to be played. The match will be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore and the competing teams are Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Match will start at 8 pm. So far both the teams have played a single match in IPL. RCB won their opening match against KKR whereas Sunrisers lost their opening match to Chennai Super Kings. Given the form and team combinations RCB is expected to win this match easily.

Glimpses of our posts in IPL 7

Yesterday Kings XI Punjab showed a great performance and posted 195 runs as target for Rajasthan Royals team. In the end Rajasthan Royal team managed to score 147 runs only and loosing the game by 48 runs. At one time it was looking that Kings Eleven Punjab will post a total of more than 200 or 225+ but last 5 overs they managed to score some 30 odd runs only, still the target was out of reach for the Rajasthan Royals team lead by Shane Warne.

Today we have 2 matches to be played in IPL. First match will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Kolkata and the second one will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at Mumbai.


Kolkata Kinght Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore: This is the first time in IPL history that Kolkata team is looking strong in papers and the fields both, otherwise right from the beginning of the IPL Kolkata team has looked stronger in the papers but ended in the bottom of the points table. This is the first time that team looks to be doing good in points table as well. As far as the todays match is concerned its Royal Challengers team which would be more under pressure to win the match they are already in the bottom 2 of the points table and they need a couple of wins badly to make a comeback in the tournament. Kolkata on the other hand are at the top of points table but they lost the last match to Kochi Tuskers, thus they need to win this match so as to remain in the top of the points table.

Mumbai Indians Vs Chennai Super Kings: Mumbai Indians lost to Chennai Super Kings in the finals of the last year IPL and this time Mumbai must be looking forward to beat Chennai, this win can make Mumbai Indian secure the top position in points table, where as Chennai if wins can make into the top 4.

Mumbai & RCB play important matches today to keep in the top of points table. Firs Mumbai Indian will play against the Pune Warriors team who might be full charged after the victory in last match that came after more than 10 consecutive defeats. Match will be played at Mumbai but it won't make much difference and there is nothing like home advantage. Mumbai was about to get defeated by Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings unless the magnificent catch by Pollard turned the things in the favor of Mumbai. Mumbai might be looking as a strong team but most of the Mumbai Indians matches end up as very close T20 encounters thus we might expect a very competitive and entertaining IPL T20 match today.

If Pune team wins the match today they will move in the top 5 teams in the points table which means they can fancy the chances of qualifying for the playoffs. On the other hand Mumbai might be looking to win the match and stay in the top 3 teams so that they can easily go for the playoffs without taking much pressure in the last games of the team.

Second match in the IPL today will begin at 8 pm and will be played at Chennai between the hosts Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both the team like to play attacking game and area mong the favorites to win the IPL 2013. The mach would be more like Gayle vs Super Kings as if Chennai gets to take the early wicket of Chris Gayle they have won half the match already. It'd be interesting to see the Ashwin vs Gayle encounter.

Live score board of IPL Matches today

Today two matches will be played in the Indian Premier League the world most popular T20 cricket league. Frist match will start at 4 pm local time and will be played between Delhi Daredevils and Rajashtan Royals. Delhi has already lost the first match to the KKR team and they must win the match so as the keep the morale higher. Bad news for the Delhi team is that Sehwag is going to miss this match as well. Sehwag was hte leading scorer for Delhi team last session and he hit consecutive 4-5 half centuries last session. Team might be hoping for Sehwag to get fit and start  playing ASAP to get the confidence and team be back on the winning mode. For Rajashtan Royals Shane Waston is going to miss the match today.

Second match will be played between Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings. The Mumbai Indians like Delhi team have lost the first match already to they need to win this match so as to keep pressure under control for the remaining matches. They are against a solid team lead by one of the most successful captain not only in IPL but other forms of international cricket as well.  The Chennai team is the only team to have features in the semifinal of every IPL played so far.

I feel like making another posts on the individual matches today as will but it depends on how interesting the matches would go today. Yesterday was as interesting match between Sunrisers and Pune Warriors, Sunsrisers team defended a low total and I'd say they definitely have a solid and most strong balling line up in the IPL.

Still feeling that IPL needs to me more exciting, this years its not at its peak yet.

IPL 2013 tournament match schedule - Important Match Dates

Good news to all the lovers of T20 cricket and the crickets fans all over the globe, specially the Indians. Once again the biggest T20 league called IPL is going to start and once again we'll get to see international and domestic players playing together for various IPL team across different locations in India.  There is less than one month left for the IPL 2013 to begin. Important Matches in IPL today for Mumbai & Chennai

This post is the part second for the post made few day back titled: Important matches for Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings Today. It is almost same situation with just a small change that this time Mumbai will play against Royal Challengers Bangalore team in place of Delhi Dare Devils. For Chennai Super Kings its the same opposition that they defeated few days back i.e. Kolkata Knight Riders. Like the last time pressure is once again on the Chennai team as they need to win the match this time as well. Kolkata team wil still have 2 more game to go after this game and a win on any one of them wil see them in play offs. However the Chennai team has only one game left after this game and they need to win both of them. Same is situation with the Mumbai Indians team and today they are facing the most fearful team in IPL called the RCB. No matter what score you set for this team as long as hug Chris Gayle is at the crease every target is short for the Royal Challengers Team. Both the teams have played equal number of matches (13) and there's a difference on one point only (Mumbai 16 and RCB 15). Thus the team winning today will have more chances of entering the IPL semi-finals. IPL matches results yesterday: Yesterday Rajasthan ROyal and Kings XI Punjab won their respective matches by defeating Pune Warriors and Deccan Chargers respectively. Win of both these teams had made the point table look more complex regarding which team will qualify for the play offs. For every team except Pune and Hyderabad every match is virtually a knock out game and a defeat will make the chances of qualifying for the next round more difficult. Score Updates IPL Matches Today

Two matches will be played in IPL today i.e.:

1. Deccan Chargers vs Delhi Daredevils
2. Rajashtan Royals Vs Chennai Super Kings

First match between Deccan Chargers and Delhi daredevils is not of much importance and results of the match will hardly have any impact on the  points table or be decisive on which IPL team will qualify for the IPL 2012 play offs. Delhi is already certain of qualifying for the play offs and a win today will regain them the number one position in points table. Deccan on the other hand are out of the scope to qualify for the next round of the tournament and they only need to win hearts of the fans by winning the remaining matches in the tournament. Deccan surely will not want to end the IPL 2012 by remaining at the end of points table.

Now if we take at the position of both the team playing in the second IPL match today. for both the teams its a must win match. Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals both have played 12 games so far and have earned 11 and 12 points respectively. Any of the team who wins the match will go to the number 4 position in points table. Thus the team winning today's match will make its way easier for reaming matches and qualifying for the IPL play offs.

Yesterday Mumbai Indians lost the match to Royal Challengers Bangalore and they now need to win at least 2 of the remaining 4 matches to qualify for the play offs. Royal Challengers Bangalore team is now looking more lethal and hopefully the team will qualify for the next round easily.

Kings XI Punjab vs Kolkata Knight Riders Match Today

At home ground Kolkata failed to chase a low score of 132 against Kings XI Punjab team. Today they face the same team but at different location. Today's match IPL match between Punjab and Kolkata will be played at PCS stadium, Mohali.

Both the teams have 4 points so far in the IPL, thus a win is much needed so that the team can get the hopes of qualifying to the next round easily without having the extra pressure in the last matches of the IPL. Kings XI however will be more beneficial from a match win here as they have played one match (4) less as compared to Knight Riders (5).

Another interesting IPL T20 match will be played tomorrow between Delhi Daredevils and Deccan Chargers. A win in the tomorrows match will be a strong indication that Delhi is going to play the Final of IPL T20 season 2012. And a loss for Deccan chargers means they might be out of the IPL contest and can only play for the pride and cause trouble to other teams for qualification to next round.

IPL updates: Matches, Players, Points & Live Scores

With more than one week past the IPL opening ceremony, the mega cricketing even or T20 extravaganza is now gaining momentum. So far Mumbai has maintained to being the top of the points table but I am sure next week will show lots of shuffling in the points table.

Kings XI punjab team has won only one of the 3 games they played but I think Azhar Mahmood who had previously played for Pakistan national cricket team and now is a British citizen will be joinign the Punjab team. He is cleared VISA and allowed to play in Punjab and delhi Matches. Adam Gilchrist the captian of Kings XI Punjab team said such a talented player joining the team will be helpful. Mahmood has been highest run scorer if the England domestic T20 competition.

In the match to be played today Pune Wariors will play against Chennai Super Kings, had it be last season most of us would have considered it as a one sided game and Chennai given the upper hand. However this year Pune is a different team and have won both the games they have played so far. Hopefully this IPL will bring some fame to the captain of Pune, Saurav Ganguly who has been in the media highlight for some wrong reasons. Just tune in to watch all the live action later in the day.

Can Ganguly cause problems to KKR Team

He captained the Kolkata Knight Riders team for 2 seasons, played for them for three season and the same team didnt picked him for the IPL season 4. Team management wanted Saurav Ganguly to take mentors role but he rather wanted to play.

At last he got to play some matches for Pune team and now he will be playing against the Kolkata team. All everyone want to see here whome will the Kolkata fans will support there team or the star from Kolkata the dada, the Ganguly. Also will Ganguly like Chris Gayle give it back to the KKR team.

The game between Pune Warriors and Kolkata will not cause much difference to the Pune team but Pune's win or loss if veru much important for Kings XI Pinjab and Kolkata Kinght Riders team. KKR needs to win one of the two remaining matches to qualify for the play ofs.

Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders Continue Winning....

Yesterday Mumbai & Kolkata won their respective matches against Delhi Daredevils and Chennai Super Kings. Delhi rely completely on the captain Virendar Sehwag and moment he fails to bat well team collapses. He had got 2-3 victories for the team single handily but thats not T2o cricket all about. Perhaps Delhi teams management needs to sit down and do the home work for the next IPL season. Don't think I am harsh at Delhi team but frankly speaking they can't do much about IPL 4 and now they have to focus on IPL 5. Team needs some good hitting batsmen and bowler who can take quick wickets.

Mumbai and Kolkata both the teams are now sure of getting ofr the IPL playoffs (next round). Whereas Chennai, Hyderabad and Rajashtan will have to fight hard to get to the next round.

1. Bangalore v Kochi at Bangalore
2. Punjab v Pune at Mohali

And as I am going to watch the IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and Pune Warriors I'll not be able to post any IPL Match updates today. But perhaps I'll be posting wallpapers from the match. I've got tickets for this IPL match weeks in advance from the Box Office opened specially for IPL match tickets selling in Phase 9 near PCA cricket stadium Mohali. I'll be sitting in the Q-cinemas stand :)

Today IPL Matches Live Socres - IPL T20

Two T20 matches to be played today in IPL are:

• Mumbai v Punjab at Mumbai
• Delhi v Kochi at Delhi

Both Mumbai and Kings XI Punjab had great start to the tournament but lost couple of the previous matches they played. Still both the teams are in comfortable positions, Mumbaihas always been in the top 4 whereas Punjab had played only 6 matches so one or two victories will take them to the top 4 and hence for the next round of the IPL.

Coming to the second match both the team share equal points from equal number of matches, thus they not only need to win this match but also win the match with a good net run rate. I don't see any of the two teams qualifying for the next round until and unless they win all the remaining matches convincingly. Otherwise they will compete only for not getting the bottom position in the points table.

Results from the IPL matches played yesterday: Yesterday both Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings win their respective matches against Pune Warriors and Deccan Chargers.

Be tuned for the matches to be played in next few days as these matches will be the ones to decide who will play the next round. Also I am excited for two matches to be played in Dharamshala. Wonder when there will be some international T20, one day or test match will be played in the picturesque Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.

IPL Match Delhi Deardevils vs Kolkata Knight Riders Score Live

Well Deccan Chargers Vs Kochi Tuskers IPL Match played on 27th April 2011 was a stunner. This match will be remembers at least for the players of the Deccan team and Deccan fans for quiet a long time. Deccan Chargers set a target of 130 runs for the Kochi Tuskers and Kochi failed to chase the target getting all out for mere 74 rusn in 16.3 overs. Ishant pulled dream spell of 5 for 12 in 3 overs. Maybe this performance is the one he needed to make a comeback to the Indian cricket team.

Another interesting match will be played between Delhi and Kolkatta teams. Delhi once again needs a win badly. They are once again placed in the bottom of the points table and a defeat here means they are just left to play few other matches just to cause setbacks to the other teams ;) .
