Things are going on like we have seen in the previous two season of IPL. Onvce again Mumbai Indians started with a victory, now I hope they will do well in this season atleast they should reash the semis this time. King XI lost the match but they were close to defend a small total.

IPL Franhisee - New Indian Premier League franchises
Two new IPL franchisee will be announced few hours later and regions that are in contention are laready posted in my previous post. Let see which are our two new IPL teams and interesting to knwo is about who are the owners of the teams along with team logos.
IPL Match 2 Mumbai v Rajasthan at Mumbai (BS)
Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan royals both the team are great. Rajasthan royals are the winner of the first IPL tournament, whereas Mumbai Indians have the potential but Unluckily they were unable to reach semis of final in the previous two seasons of IPL. However I am supporting Mumbai Indians and I hope they will surely win the IPL 2010 this time. Good luck to the Mumbai Indias fore the opening match and for whole IPL series.
2 more New IPL franchises for IPL 4
IPL season three will begin on March 12 and before that IPL will made public the name of two more new IPL franchises. There are 8 contender for IPL teams i.e.: Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Kanpur, Dharamsala, Indore, Cuttack, Gwalior, Visakapatnam , Rajkot, Pune, Vadodara and Kochi.
From the above Rajkot, Pune, Vadodara and Kochi don't have stadiums currently. Rest all have stadiums and are hosting IPL mathces also. The base price of bidding for franchise is kept US$225 million.
