IPL Match Today - Bangalore v Mumbai Live Score Board

Same is the case for the Mumbai Indians team, they will be playing today without the lethal bowler Lasith Malinga. As per team management Malinga is expected to miss the opening match due to injury and he'd be fit to play for the remaining IPL matches.  Interestingly team is being lead by one of the most successful captains Ricky Ponting from Australia, who knows how to lead a team to victory.

The RCB team on other hand is a team  that would be lead by a new captain who is being looked upon as future captain of team India. Yes you are right, Virat Kohli will lead the team this IPL and I am little doubtful about Kohli's captainship. Lets wait how he'll lead the team today.

Like Mumbai RCB to will miss the experienced Zaheer Khan from the opening match due to injury.

Highlight of the match today: Harbhajan Singh and Ponting playing together after the Syndey incident. It'd be nice to see Ponting and Sachin batting together if this can happen today.

Important matches for Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings Today

Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will face the teams who are are the number one and number two position in points table. In the first IPL match to be played today Mumbai Indians will face Kolktata Knight Riders who are placed at second position in points table. Whereas in the second game fifth seeded Chennai Super Kings will fqace Delhi Daredevils who are the numero-uno position in this years IPL points table.

For both the teams  (Chennai and Mumabi) its a must win game though Delhi and Kolkata would want to keep the winning track and not take these games likely. I am not sure if all the visitors of fans of IPL are aware of this fact or not but this is the first time Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders will be facing each other. Though there have been more than 50 games played in IPL, its the first match between two teams.

IPL Matches - Mumbai Vs Rajasthan Live Score Updates

Yesterday Kolkata Knight riders won the match against Pune Warriors and thus took another step towards the play ofs. Today Mumbai will play against Rajasthan Royals. In the last encounter between both the teams Rajasthan won the game and Sachin was critical about the pitch conditions.

Lets see if the Mumbai Indians can win the match in the home conditions, as far as importance of todays game is concerned Rajasthan Royals are already out of the competition for play ofs whereas Mumbai will need only one win from the remaining games better if they can do it today itself.

IPL Playoff qualification becomes tough for the bottom 4

Deccan Chargers is also facing the same condition to qualify for the next round. Deccan team faced the similar conditions in the IPL season two and they emerged as the winners of second IPL. Mumbai Indians restricted to 94 runs by Rajasthan Royals

Mumbai Indians, a team with strong batting line up was restricted to their lowest ever score in IPL by the Sharne Warne lead Rajasthan Royals. Previous lowest score by Mumbai Indians was 116 runs. So far in the tournament Mumbai teams top orders was scoring runs heavily and thus the middle order didn't have the real match practice leading to the disaster today.

Rajashtan needs just 95 runs and seems they will chase the score comfortable if not easily. Just to update you on yesterdays match Delhi team once again failed to chase the score and remain at the bottom of the points table.

Mumbai Indian Vs Pune Warriors IPL Match Live

In yes another interesting IPL encounter, today Pune Warriors won the toss and elected to bat against Mumbai Indians. For Pune warriors it is there first IPL season in which they have done well so far winning 2 out of the three matches played. Mumbai Indians on the other hand is the runner up for the last season and the team looks lethal this time also.

Bowlers of the Mumbai Indian team are bowling superbly and they have taken 9 wickets so far in 17 overs giving away 118 runs. With just one wicket remaining for Pune team I guess any target they set will be easier one for Mumbai Indians to chase.

Minutes after the original post Munaf patel got the wicket of last Pune team batsmen henve the target for Mumbai Indians team is 119 runs. A target under 6 runs an over somethins that can be chased easily in T20 format. However in cricket match is not won till the last bowl is bowled or winning run is scored.

IPL T20 final - Sachin Vs Dhoni - Mumbai Indians Vs Chennai Super Kings

After a long battle for 45 days the day has come the final match. Todays match will decide who will be the winner of IPL3. For Mumbai Indians playing of the captian Sachin Tendulkar is still in doubt. I think perhaps Sachin will not want to miss the final and will play todays match for sure.

Today Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field first against match against Chennai Super Kings. Chennai super Kings got to a good starts and lost 2 quick wickets also. However al will depenn upon how they score in final 3 overs now. Curretn score is 151/2 in 17 overs.

Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan royals both the team are great. Rajasthan royals are the winner of the first IPL tournament, whereas Mumbai Indians have the potential but Unluckily they were unable to reach semis of final in the previous two seasons of IPL.
