India Vs Sri Lanka - final match

India have defeated Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in consecutive match on consecutive days. Now Indian fan miogh tbe hoping for a win on wednesday final match to start the new year with a series win. However India lost the first match of the year, its possible they may also loose the first series.

For final I am expecting big score from Virat Kohli so that he can happily take away the man of the series award.

Also on wedensday final India and Sri Lanka will shae a record of playing highest number of matches between two teams.

India vs Bangaldesh

To the utter surprise Bangaldesh choose to bat first, may the fact that middle order of Bngladesh team is not so good and have beeen an area of concern from so my years. Bangldesh made a good start and it will all depend on how they finish up the things.

Bangladesh 207/5 is 38.1 overs and if they are able to make it upto 290 they have good chances of winning the match. Lets see hats on the cards for Bangladesh team.

Bangldesh Tri Series - India Vs Sri Lanka

Well as said in my previous post, dew factor will be on the mind of both the captains. Now Sri Lanks do have upper hand in this match as Sangakkara has won the toss and decided to bol first. Now only thing India can do to boost chances of winning is to post a huge total of 300+ anyyhing around 260 to 270 will be very easy to chase, given the due factor. Worries for Sri Lanka are : Dilshan and Chamara Silva are injured and not playing. Lahiru Thirimanne will be making his debut as a makeshift opener (in Dilshan's place) and Thissara Perera will bat in the middle order.

India Sri Lanka Bangladesh Tri series match 2

Well as expected Sri Lanka won the match today and will play India tomorrow. Both team are equally favorite for winning however toss will be handy to decide the winner and in todays match dew factor caused prblems for team fielding later.

SO I am confident that team winning the toss and electing to field will win the match.

Well Bangladesh failed to convert a good start to a huge total. Middle order is the weakness of the team forever. Bangladesh have posted a score of Bangladesh 260/7 in 50 overs. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field and the score doesn't seems to be good one to defend against a team like Sri Lanka. However my best wishes for Bangladesh.

They will also play secone game againse India tomorrow.

Bangladesh Tri Series : India - Pakistan - Bangladesh | Goni relace Shreesanth

For impressive game show in IPL the fast bowler Manpreet Gony has been selected for the tri-series in Bangladesh replacing S. Sreesanth.

Gony also played well in in domestic competition. He finished with 17 wickets from 16 matches at 26.05, which made him the leading wicket-taker for Chennai Super Kings and fourth highest overall in the IPL.

He was picked by the Super Kings after finishing as the leading wicket taker in the Deodhar Trophy, taking nine from three matches at 14.66. Gony made his first-class debut in December last year against Baroda.

Sreesanth, who was assessed in National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore Friday, will take two weeks to recover from the injury and will undergo rehabilitation at NCA. He is expected to be fit in time for the Asia Cup in Pakistan.

Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan have already been ruled out of the tri-series owing to groin and ankle injuries.

Bangladesh Tri Series : India - Pakistan - Bangladesh

Trie series is scheduled in June 2008 and teams are annouced from all the three asian countries for India Sachin Tendulkar is goin to miss the series on the grounds of fitness hes yet to recover from groin injury. Both pathan brother Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan got selected in 15 members squad. Left arm spinned Pragayn Ojha make his debut. Below is the Indian squad for the series:
